Our Story

A Legacy of Dedication

Jnana Bharati Vidyavardhaka Sangha (R) was established on 7th October 1989 by a group of visionary educationists and community leaders in Akki-Alur who recognized the need for quality education in the Hanagal taluk. What began as a modest initiative with a handful of classrooms has grown into a thriving educational institution that has touched the lives of thousands of students and families.

For nearly three decades, the Sangha operated Kannada medium schools that earned a reputation for academic excellence and strong moral education. As the demand for English medium education grew in the region, the management took a bold step forward.

In the academic year 2017-18, the LKS English Medium Higher Primary & High School was launched, bringing world-class English medium education to the doorstep of families in Akki-Alur and surrounding areas. The school quickly gained recognition for its modern teaching methods, dedicated faculty, and commitment to holistic student development.
